Community Songs Vol II
We're gathering the community to record our next volume of Community Songs as we continue our exploration in how to build community through the songs we sing.
We're also creating a space for you to bring your own 'community songs' and road test them in this songwriting community with those gathered in a live 'worship' context - less for critique, more for corporate worship followed by reflection. If you were at Wydale or the House of Bread this will be familiar - bringing songs designed to be relevant and very accessible in the moment and using them to lead one another.
Plus we'll have some input and workshop on how we might incorporate some of the community songs ideas into a regular Sunday morning service.
All that and a chance to hang out together!

You'll need to find accommodation overnight - the college does have a few rooms on universityrooms.com or there are plentiful options in Oxford - and lunch on the Saturday will be bring-your-own or find-a-nearby-cafe!
The event will be recorded, photographed and filmed. Signing up indicates consent to that, though for the main recording session you may be able to find a position less prominent to the cameras.
