Resound Worship is a ministry of the Song and Hymn Writers Foundation, a charity dedicated to publishing quality worship songs as well as training, resourcing and influencing worship songwriters from the grass roots to published composers. We’d really value your support.

You say, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart.'
I will trust in you, Lord, with all my heart.
You say, 'Don't lean upon your understanding.'
I'll put my life in your hands,
I'll put my life in your hands.

For you are faithful, you are good,
all your promises endure;
through the fire and the flood
I know I am held secure.
In every circumstance I face
I know there is no safer place
than in your hands,
I'm in your hands.

You say, 'Acknowledge me in all your ways.'
I will acknowledge you in all my ways.
You say, 'I will direct the steps you're taking.'
I'll put my faith in your word,
I'll put my faith in your word.

I believe in you,
I believe in you.
I believe in you,
I believe in you.

Proverbs 3: 5-6 have been important to me for years; my dad wrote them inside the cover of a Bible I received as a teenager. Packing up after a church service in early 2014 I noticed a left-over piece of paper that had those verses on it, sat down, and began singing the verses of this song pretty much as they are now (with some helpful RESOUND editing to the last lines). The chorus followed on fairly easily afterwards as a declaration of God's unending faithfulness, for which I am so grateful. I hope this song helps bring those verses to fresh life in the hearts of many.
