FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’ve purchased an item. How do I download it?

Shortly after you place your order and pay for it you'll be sent an email from us with a list of links to download each item. If that hasn't arrived, please make sure that you check all your spam filters.

Alternatively, log in to the website (if you're not already) and go back to the page for the song you bought. The buttons for the items you have purchased will be marked 'Download'. Click the button and your download should start.

Can I change my email address on your mailing list?

The email address on our mailing list are automatically generated from subscribers. You’ll need to change your account email address, and this will then become your new user name. Login, then click View Account at the top of the screen. On the next screen you can edit your details.

I’ve forgotten my password.

Click Login/Sign up at the top of the screen. Then select I’ve forgotten my password from the following screen.

I’m having trouble playing my mp3s on my phone or tablet.

On Apple devices, due to how iOS works, you'll need to use iTunes on you computer to import the MP3 files and then send them to your iPhone or iPad. We're not aware of any restrictions like that for Android or Windows Phone users.

How do I add a downloaded track to my iTunes library?

Once you've downloaded the file, the easiest option is to simply drag and drop the MP3 from your downloads folder into the iTunes window. If that doesn't appear to work, open iTunes and select File > Add To Library. That command will open a dialog box which allows you to select the downloaded files.

If you're not sure where your browser has downloaded the files to, check your 'Downloads' history - there will be an option there to 'Show File In Windows Explorer' or 'Reveal in Finder'. The exact wording or location of that option will vary depending on which browser and operating system you're using. You may need to refer to the documentation for your system for more details.

How do I buy in US Dollars or other currencies?

All our prices are displayed in GBP, but PayPal allows you to purchase in any currency. Go through the checkout as normal and PayPal will convert the total using the current exchange rate when debiting your card or account. We don’t currently have a facility to display live multi-currency prices, but you can easily get an estimate using a search engine.

I don’t have/want a PayPal account. Can I still purchase items?

PayPal is the only facility we currently use for payments, but you don’t have to have an account. On checkout, when you are taken to the PayPal screen, choose "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card" or "Check Out as a Guest" underneath the login fields. The option you see depends on which version of the PayPal site they choose to present to you.

I don’t have a CCLI licence. How do I get permission to use a song?

Though we give many resources away for free, you do need permission to use them in a public setting. If you don’t have a CCLI licence, you can purchase a one-off licence for a small fee by contacting our copyright manager.

Can I make multiple copies of scores for my band/choir?

If you have an MRL licence (provided by CCLI) then you can simply report your copies on there. For other bulk reproduction licences, please contact our copyright manager.

I’ve been given a discount code, where do I use it?

Add items to your basket as usual and then click Basket at the top right of the screen. Enter your code in the box titled Have a voucher code? and click Apply Code. The discount will then be applied to your basket before you checkout.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by editing your account preferences. Login, then click View Account at the top of the screen. On the next screen you can edit your preferences under the Membership tab.

Do you provide backing tracks with just drums/keyboard/etc?

We are currently only able to provide backing tracks that are versions of our standard recordings without vocals. It would currently be cost-prohibitive to do anything more complex, though we do frequently look for ways to add new features to the site.
