Songwriter Training Day 16 November
Booking for first of our new songwriter training days is now open! Writing Songs for the Church to Sing is taking place in Loughborough - ideally situated just off the M1 in the middle of the country - on Saturday 16 November.
These interactive workshop days are aimed at anybody writing songs in their local church context. They are a great opportunity to be encouraged, improve your skills and connect with other writers.
The first event will be led by Joel Payne (There is a love, What kind of throne) and Matt Osgood (On Christmas Day, All I have), both founder members of the RESOUNDworship team, who will share insights and experience from their own songwriting journey, and deliver practical and interactive training on aspects of songwriting, including lyrics, melody, harmony and song structure.
A key component of the day will be a critiquing session that models RESOUNDworship's unique collaborative approach to songwriting. To get the most out of the day, delegates are strongly encouraged to bring a song of their own!
