The 12 Mondays of Christmas - Week 9

Posted at 00:47am on 2nd December 2014

At last - December is here! It's universally accepted that it's okay to get Christmassy now! And it's week nine of our 12 Mondays countdown, as we release a video a week for the songs from our new album, Christmas Songs. CDs are shipping out every day, and the album is available for download too, so get it now! Why not check out this review in the December issue of Christianity magazine?

This week we bring you 'Searching for a baby' by Sam Hargreaves. Sam was asked a couple of years ago by his pastor to write a Christmas song on the theme of searching, In it he explores that theme in the Christmas story, before concluding with the response that though some may have searched high and wide for the baby, it was that baby - Jesus - who really came to search for them. And all of us. And now we've got a brand new recording from Christmas Songs. (We've also got a full orchestra and choir score for this one!)

The video has been produced by our friends at engageworship.org to go along with the other Christmas Songs videos. They're also offering a powerpoint version, and a downloadable video loop of the background that you can use for other things. So do check them out.

We'll be releasing a video for each of the 12 tracks on the album, every Monday until Christmas. And each week we'll give you the opportunity to bag freebie .If you don't already follow us on Facebook or Twitter, then now is the time to do so.

The full digital edition of Christmas Songs is available on CD and download now.
