New Year's resolutions

The New Year is a time for new starts and new resolutions. It's often a time when people want to recommit themselves to God, to serving Jesus Christ in the whole of their lives. Here at RESOUNDworship.org we're looking forward to bringing you more new songs this year, but for now how about looking at these titles from our current catalogue that cover themes of wholehearted commitment.

Perth Training Day

What a treat it was to take the 'Writing Songs for the Church to Sing' workshop to Perth in December. When we set these up we didn't quite expect the second one would be on the other side of the world! On a sunny December day, we gathered with members of Scarborough Baptist and other Perth churches to learn together and share songs. It never fails to be a good day when a group of keen songwriters gather, and they seem to have enjoyed the critiquing sessions so much that plans are being touted to set up a permanent songwriting group, just like Resound in the UK. That's exactly why we run these events! Be sure to check out future UK dates, with the next coming up on 8 Feb in Stambourne, Essex.
