Our new double album

20 songs on two discs that hold together themes of sorrow, grief and lament with confidence and hope. 

These songs are written for congregational worship. They offer a vocabulary for times of struggle - disc one looks towards the struggle and expresses our pain before God, disc two looks out from and beyond the struggle to a sure and certain hope.

These are themes and orientations which belong together in our worship and we have attempted to do the two at the same time, reflecting they ways they both complement and jar with each other. 
 

Biblical Reflections Book

An twenty-chapter devotional book by the writers of the Downcast Souls Expectant Hearts album, inviting you into the stories behind the songs and the scriptures that inspired them. Each chapter has a full song lyric, a key Bible passage, a reflection by the author and some questions for prayer or discussion. Also includes a brief introduction to lament. (Available individually or as a bundle with the double-CD album)
