Ascension, Pentecost and Trinity Sunday

We hope you had a great time celebrating Easter with your church family. In many traditions, thought now turns towards the ascension, the day of Pentecost and Trinity Sunday. If you're from one of these traditions, how about singing something from the selection below? And if you're a bit less into the classic church-year, you'll probably find some of these just as useful all year round!

Ascension
Father your love - a joyful reflection on Ephesians 2
High in the heavens  - from Philippians 2, all from the perspective of Christ ascended
A tomb so cold - from the grave to life and ascended glory, and looking to Jesus' return

Holy Spirit
Jesus you have called us - a reflection on our call to follow Christ with the help of the Spirit
Lord you have searched me - the Spirit who seeks us out, in the words of Psalm 139
The Spirit of the Lord - our call to carry on the mission of Christ in the power of the Spirit

Trinity
Holy, holy, holy Lord - a setting of the ancient Sanctus text
Father God we come - mid tempo rock song leading us to worship Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We give glory (Awesome Trinity) - it's upbeat praise, and the clue is in the title!
Jesus, lead us to the Father - a three-part song of worship in, through and to the Triune God
Come you thankful people - all-age, calling everyone to worship the one-true-God-in-three
